  • June 20th (Sunday) 8 PM, with Almost Duck That (duo with Angela Sawyer) at Sun Worship V, presented by Offset Needle Radius at the Buoy Gallery, 2 Government St., Kittery, Maine. Also appearing: birdorgan, Eric Dahlman, Jed Speare and Offset Needle Radius.
  • June 14th (Monday) 10:30 PM (EDT), Duck That will be phoning it in! Phoning It In is a radio show where DJ Talksonthephone “calls up all your favorite musicians for live over-the-phone performances and awkward conversation”. This is broadcast over the air on KDVS, 90.3 FM in Davis, California. They also stream the broadcast live via their Web site. We will be performing live in my dining room, huddled around the only land-line telephone in the band.

    Billed as a “Synth Battle To The Death”, this will be my (improv) debut on analog synth (a cheap circuit-bent Realistic ConcertMaster 500 that Angela gave me over a year ago), so we’ll set up head-to-head for some serious synth mahem. Plus all the other usual Duck That fun shit.

  • March 13th (Saturday) with Duck That at the space *above* City Feed and Supply, 672 Centre St. in Jamaica Plain. (Virtually around the corner from The Whitehaus.) Also appearing: Mind Yeti, Rene Netherlands, Zun Zun Equi and quasi-super-secret headliners Debo Band. Music at like 8:30. Ish. Not sure when we go on, but it’s somewhere in the middle.
  • February 26th (Friday) 11 PM, I’m playing at XFest 2010 in Lowell, with Ras Moshe (tenor sax, flute) and Dave Miller (drums). From the press release: “XFest 2010 is a festival of improvised music, visuals and movement.” It all hapens at 119 Gallery in Lowell, Massachusetts, from Friday evening, February 26th through Sunday night, February 28th.   • May 30th (Monday) 12 PM, I'll be performing Tom Plsek’s Collateral Damage Noted, a Memorial Day tribute to the Iraqi civillians killed in the Iraq war. A group of nearly 100 musicians will be performing this piece on the Boston City Hall Plaza, Boston MA, starting at noon.
